Campus Prayer Walk

Prayer Walk this Friday!!!

~2 Chronicles 7:14 "If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

Dear Cru family this Friday we will be holding a very special event called a prayer walk. As Charles H Spurgeon once said “When God determines to do something He first calls His people to pray.” The Lord has plans for the lives that don't yet know Him here at UConn. We are blessed to be asked by the King of Kings to play a role in His plan. That is why we would like to meet Friday and split into groups of 2 or 3 to pray both in SU and around campus. This will entail praying in your group as you walk through Fairfield Way and different parts of campus. Of course, if you feel God's prompting to pray for a student at a moment you pass by them, ask. If not, ask how you can be praying for them. There is so much joy in knowing YOU are part of His plan but that takes action... PRAYER. We have a role and responsibility as followers of Jesus to pray for our campus, department, faculty, staff, and students.  
I'll be sharing more about it tomorrow at our large group meeting and answer any questions.
